First up was removal of the rear fender, struts and stock tank. A hand
built aluminum competition inspired tail section fit nicely on the stock
frame which we also stripped of the standard square battery box and
electronics in favor of minimal FXR inspired side covers. We then
fabricated a custom EFI fuel tank which we set low on top of the motor.
We through on 19x3 Front and 17x6 rear RSD wheels with sticky Dunlop
roadrace tires. The addition of Memphis Shades
Gauntlet Fairing keeps the wind at ease and allows for
high speed riding over long distances without fatigue.
are many, but we lead off with a collection of the new Machine Ops
engine covers and dual discs to create a technical yet classic look across the bike. A mega riser, custom narrow bars and our Nostalgia headlight complete the front end package.
This love affair has now spread to every nook&corner of this bike. From the sportbike front fender to the one off aluminum tail section, nothing was left untouched. We redesigned the tunnel for our vintage tank to work with the dyna backbone, fabbed aluminum side pods to cover the battery/oil tank and designed a mono block riser system that will inspire a whole new line of narrow handlebars. It is now time to disassemble it and send it out for final finishes. Stay tuned to see this Dyna come together and rip up the roads of southern California..
